Project Unity Draft Recommendations Open for Community Feedback

The City of Tuscaloosa’s Project Unity initiative has published draft recommendations. Recommendations will be available for the public to view and share feedback online until Wednesday, July 14.
Project Unity is a community engagement initiative designed to bridge gaps between police officers and the people of Tuscaloosa while creating equal opportunities for the community.
Project Unity is composed of five committees, each of which has released a draft recommendation. The committees are: Youth Sports & Recreation, Neighborhood Revitalization & Housing, Education, Economic & Workforce Development and Community Policing & Recruitment, Training and Retention.
Each committee will review the submitted comments before making final recommendations.
